The Deep Sigh (Simon Andrews) is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter from Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia. Drawing inspiration from Radiohead’s cinematic soundscapes, Tame Impala’s psych-pop melodies, Elliot Smith’s vocal harmonies and the raw energy of Led Zeppelin, The Deep Sigh has delivered 12 ambitious songs that fall within the genres of dream-pop and psych-rock.

After a decade spent shaping young minds as a teacher, Simon is turning his focus back to his first love: writing and recording music. His debut studio album, No Longer Not Yet (Nov. 2025), features 12 tracks that dive deep into the human experience. Simon’s lyrics and stories explore themes of hope and purpose, uncertainty and impermanence, desire and despair, and the search for meaning within the paradox of a minuscule existence in an infinite universe.

With production and engineering help from Keelan Sanders of Blue Green Studios Brisbane, Simon composed all music and performed all instruments on the album, blending his jazz education, classical heritage, and passion for pop/rock to create intricate, layered soundscapes.

Designed to accompany long highway drives, solo journeys abroad, or quiet moments at sunset, No Longer Not Yet aims to leave an enduring impression on listeners—a musical timestamp to revisit for years to come.
